For the Pacific, we expect good weather for boating, winds from the NW at 8-10 knots, waves approximately 3 feet with a SSE direction.
Fort he Caribbean, the conditions should be good, calm seas appropriate for fishing, wind speed at 5-6 knots and waves at roughly 5 feet.
Para el pacifico habrá buen tiempo las condiciones serán favorable para la navegación, vientos con dirección NW con velocidad de 8 – 10 nudos, olas de 3 pies aproximadamente con dirección SSE
Para el Caribe las condiciones del mar se esperan buenas, mar en calma apropiado para la pesca, vientos con velocidades de 5 – 6 nudos y olas de 5 pies aproximadamente.
IMPORTANT!!! – Fishing conditions are extremely favorable especially for bottom fishing in the Bay of Panama.
In Pedasí near Isla Iguana there are strong winds from the North that are causing rough conditions for fishing, but the conditions are favorable at Los Frailes.

Smaller boats on the Caribbean side of Panamá should excercise caution and follow basic security measures always remembering to use a life vest.
For boats on the Pacific side of Panamá, the ocean waters should be calm in general, but with heavier winds around Isla Iguana in Pedasí. These winds are typical in the dry season. Remember always to wear your life vests.

Pedasí – Excellent fishing. Yesterday, in the early morning, one of our first hand reporters caught 22 tuna between the hours of 6-8AM in the are of Los Frailes.
Further reports confirm that tuna fishing is excellent, but only in the very early morning hours. After 10AM the fishing comes to a hault.
Espectacular pesca de tuna en los Frailes, se reporta que de 06:00 hrs – 08:00 se pescaron 22 tunas de buena talla.
Otros informantes nos dicen que es totalmiente cierto esto, pero que solamente en horas bien tempranas. Despues de las 10AM ya se pone lenta la pesca.
Bahia de Panamá-
Reports are that the Bay of Panama is INFESTED with Red Snapper, around the size of 4-6 pounds. This promises to be an excellent weekend for bottom fishing.
Se reporta que los pargos rojos veraneros han infectado esta área, si que prepare sus implemento y diríjase a pescar este es su fin perfecto.
ADDITIONAL NOTE: Further reports add that fishing is especially good for Spotted Snapper (Pargo de la Mancha) around the areas of Taboga.
Gamboa, Lago Gatún –
Fishing in Gatun lake has not been very good lately. On-the-water reporters said that even in the authorized areas near Baro Colorado, there was little to no action today. WE WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR AND REPORT BACK WITH ANY CHANGES.
Se da un giro no muy favorable para la pesca en el lago Gatún ya que han disminuido en los últimos días la pesca en esta área tan reconocida para pesca como areas autorizados cerca de Baro Colorado. CONTINUAREMOS MONITOREANDO Y DAREMOS MAS INFORMACION SOBRE CUALQUIER CAMBIO.
